Our history

Théo-Bébé was born from the meeting of three French entrepreneurs living in Asia in the late 1990s. Drawing on decades of experience in trade, woodworking, and furniture manufacturing, they decided in 2014 to revive the Théo brand, which had been present in France since 1999 in a different form.

Driven by a shared vision of children's furniture, they also took over a furniture manufacturing facility in Solo, on the island of Java in Indonesia, specializing in baby furniture and rattan products. The factory was on the verge of closing following the withdrawal of a major French group, but it continues to thrive today through Théo-Bébé’s collections and the preservation of its craftsmanship and expertise.

The brand’s identity remains deeply French. The majority of our customers are based in France and across Europe, as are all our sales and marketing teams. We also operate a logistics platform in Loriol, in the Drôme region of France, enabling us to provide fast and efficient deliveries throughout Europe.

Since its inception, Théo-Bébé has championed a more sustainable approach to children's furniture. We design furniture made from natural materials, built to last, adapt to growing families, and stand the test of time.

Our ambition is simple: to offer a more responsible alternative to disposable baby furniture by creating pieces that are elegant, durable, and timeless.

Today, Théo-Bébé is distributed in several European countries and is available throughout Europe through our online store.
