Our commitments
At Théo-Bébé, we are convinced that children’s furniture can be beautiful, durable, and more environmentally responsible.
Today, the furniture industry generates a significant amount of pollution: the use of non-durable materials, harmful chemicals, plastic packaging, waste production, and more. In response to this reality, we have chosen to rethink the way we design and manufacture our furniture.
Our goal is simple: to offer furniture designed to last, made from more natural materials, and created with special attention to children’s health and environmental impact.
Carefully selected materials
We prioritize materials chosen for their durability and reduced environmental impact:
-
solid wood from controlled sourcing
-
MDF made from sustainably grown rubberwood
-
natural rattan, a renewable and non-endangered material
-
recyclable metal
We use water-based paints and varnishes, free from solvents, in order to reduce our environmental footprint and offer healthier furniture.
More responsible production
Since 2020, we no longer use any plastic, neither in the manufacturing of our furniture nor in our packaging.
We have eliminated:
-
plastic films
-
plastic bags
-
protective polystyrene
Our packaging is now entirely made from recyclable and reusable cardboard and paper.
Furniture designed to last
At Théo-Bébé, we design furniture that can grow with the child and adapt to families’ evolving needs over time.
Our beds are multi-convertible and can accompany different stages of growth thanks to the conversion kit:
-
baby bed (with both side rails installed)
-
toddler bed (with one side of the conversion kit installed)
-
junior bed (with both sides of the conversion kit installed)
-
sofa
-
and in some models, even a desk
This approach extends the lifespan of our furniture and helps reduce unnecessary replacement.
Natural & durable materials
We prioritize authentic and durable materials designed to stand the test of time with elegance.
Since 2021, our collections also include 100% natural rattan, worked in various forms: caning, weaving, or rattan cane.
Solid wood, natural rattan, and the living materials we use may present slight variations in color or a light natural scent. These characteristics are part of the authenticity of each piece of furniture.
Because the least polluting furniture is above all the one we keep for a long time, we design strong, repairable products made to accompany families for many years.
Reliability & safety
Children’s safety remains at the heart of every creation.
All Théo-Bébé furniture intended for baby use is tested in compliance with current French and European standards.
Our collections meet requirements related to:
-
baby beds
-
changing furniture
-
materials used
-
finishes and paints
We also pay particular attention to everyday comfort and safety:
-
soft-close doors
-
soft-close drawers
-
reduced risk of finger pinching
Quality designed to last
Since its creation, Théo-Bébé has placed quality and durability at the center of its priorities.
That is why all our products come with a 3-year warranty, reflecting our commitment to reliable furniture designed to support families over time.
More than just baby furniture, we design pieces intended to last for years with softness, functionality, and elegance.
*This applies only to Théo-Bébé furniture, excluding mattresses, textiles, and other products not manufactured by Théo-Bébé.
