Théo Bébé is committed to protecting the oceans
In France and around the world, the furniture industry is responsible for an enormous amount of pollution: manufacturing methods, volume of waste, plastic packaging, use of products that are toxic to health and the environment, etc.
Théo Bébé has been working for several years to reduce its environmental impact. This is a real awareness of all stakeholders, from management to manufacturing workshops, including designers and customer service.
The oceans are the first to be affected by this pollution: micro and macro plastics poison marine flora and fauna.
For several years we have been looking to produce environmentally friendly furniture: made from natural and biodegradable materials, without substances harmful to health or the environment, with efficient but minimal packaging.
Our furniture is designed to last over time: truly scalable, they will accompany your children for many years. Of very good quality, they can be reused for other children.
The least polluting waste is that which we do not produce.
ZERO
PLASTIC
Since January 1, 2020, there is no more plastic in Théo Bébé products:
The furniture is made of solid wood, rattan or MDF, the screws are entirely made of metal, and the paints and varnishes are water-based, without solvents.
The packaging is entirely made of cardboard: no more polystyrene, no more plastic films, no more plastic bags.
100%
Biodegradable
Since January 1, 2020, everything that comes out of our manufacturing workshops is 100% biodegradable:
Wood fibers are biodegradable and reusable, especially since our varnishes and paints do not use hydrocarbon-based products.
The metal is 100% recyclable, with no life cycle limit.
Cardboard packaging is fully recyclable and reusable, as well as being biodegradable.
